Air tests

The air inside our homes is more polluted than the air outside. And yet we spend about 90% of our time in enclosed areas and breathe in about 15 m3 of air a day (for an adult weighing 60kg).

This pollution of the air indoors is far from being harmless to our health and depending on the content and gases in question may even prove to be lethal. There are, for example, about 7000 cases of carbon monoxide poisoning in France.

For your health, we have developed tests making it possible to analyse the quality of the air in your home.

These tests will help you to measure your exposure to the main gases responsible for interior pollution in your home in less than an hour.

All the kits include a booklet in which there are very detailed instructions, information about the different pollutants for which we offer you direct reading analysis, the maximum average exposure readings you should obtain and a guide to improving the quality of your air.

In particular, we recommend you carry out a carbon monoxide test once a year (preferably in the winter season) in order to make sure that you and your family are not at risk from poisoning.

Includes:

  • A glass tube for analysing carbon monoxide  Our booklet (user manual, know more about the air interior quality)
  • Each glass tube is filled with a chemical reagent which allows the gas being tested to move around the tube at a constant rate. The reagent contained in the tube then changes colour to indicate the average exposure.

All you have to do is break the tube and leave it for one hour minimum (out of the reach of children) in a room in your home.

This test will help you to measure your exposure to carbon monoxyde in your home in less than an hour.
