Ideal for making the best choice in household appliances (need for a water-softening system or not) and for making a shrewd decision on how to use water-softening products when your water is particularly hard. Also important for knowing the daily intakes of calcium and magnesium provided by your water.

The microbiological kits (coliform bacteria) is also ideal for diagnosing  the quality of the water from your well, bore hole, water collector or springs near to you home wich could be contaminated.

The analyses for each parameter are very simple to carry out and the results are revealed in less than a minute (except for the total coliforms detection test which requires a minimum 24-hour incubation period)

This kit can be used to carry out 40 pH analyses. It contains 40 pH tabs and 1 test tube to collect a sample of the solution to be analysed

Potential Hydrogen (pH) characterises the concentration of free hydrogen ions (H+) in water or an aqueous solution.

It also indicates if a solution is acid or alkaline. Results:

  • solutions with a pH below 7 are acid
  • solutions with a pH above 7 are alkaline
  • solutions with a pH equal to or approximately 7 are neutral

You can use this kit to measure the pH of water or an aqueous solution (including coloured solutions) on a scale from 1 to 12. These strips are top quality and have a wide span, enabling you to measure the pH of many solutions.
